Beech is an all-seasons remake of an iconic Jamestown gathering place. Conceived by a group of Jamestown locals who wanted to give their community a restaurant that feels like home. Kevin and his team are serving up inspired creations across 5 dining areas that run the gamut from a lively bar scene to intimate, twinkle-light dining. Host a larger gathering with us in the perfect private space. No matter what your vibe is, Beech will keep you coming back for classic dishes with a current spin.

Built around a 150 year old Beech tree—a symbol of protection and nourishment with its shady canopy and edible nuts—Beech is a haven for travelers and locals alike.

Originally from Jamestown, Kevin Gaudreau is a nationally recognized, award-winning chef. He has been named one of the country’s most influential chefs by Best Chefs America, having cooked with and supervised numerous successful culinary operations across the country. Chef Kevin’s dishes have graced the pages of Rhode Island Monthly and multiple national publications. His nationwide reputation was established right here in Jamestown as executive chef at the iconic Trattoria Simpatico.

With roots in Trumbull, Connecticut, Eric started his culinary career working on Block Island at the Spring House. Since then, he has gathered over 15 years of experience working in various restaurants throughout the Rhode Island area. Eric is well versed in using locally-sourced produce and seafood to create imaginative dishes. It’s here at Beech that he looks to help create the region's “must-eat” restaurant destination.
